"The room was a bit beat up. The bathroom fixtures were rusty, the paint not as fresh as it could be, and the floors had visible damage. The bed was very comfortable though."

"Our stay was wonderful! We had a king-sized bed with a patio. The staff was polite and helpful. The only tiny problem was I looking forward to a dip in the hot tub, which was under construction and I wasn’t made aware until we arrived. The dining options were delicious if you don’t feel like venturing out. You can’t complain when the beach is just across the grounds. It was a peaceful vacay!"

"The free wine and cheese at happy hour was so convenient since we'd stop in before or after an outing to the beach, nearby State Street, or the Funk Zone. Staff were friendly and helpful. Maintenance staff were hard at work keeping the place organized and clean. Of all the places I have stayed at Santa Barbara, I think this was my favorite so far, especially for the competitive price."

"Excellent services all around from the momemt we drove into the valet lot until our check out. All rooms are newly renovated and lobby is still being worked on. Looking forward to seeimg their transformation next time. Will definitely return."

"The Ritz Bacara is beautiful. Driving in to the courtyard and being greeted immediately. Valet, bell service and check-in were a breeze and set the tone for relaxation and ease. Tiana was delightful. Our room was lovely. We took advantage of all 4 restaurants on property and were spoiled at all of them. Grant at San Setto, Dulce and Lucy at the Bistro, Joe at Angel Oak and Claire at the O Bar. Could not have had better service and the menus are diverse, the food is fantastic. We also enjoyed a...
